Hikari
Inspired by concrete buildings by Ando Tadao, often characterised by sharp edges and surfaces that interact with light and shadow. Under the surface of clean lines and subtle textural play hides an engaging knitting process around the back, shoulders and neck.
Hikari was designed for Issue 20 of amirisu magazine.

Notes
This top-down tee begins with an I-Cord on the upper back. Shaping is made with German Short Rows on both sides of this I-Cord to create the v-shaped neck opening, shoulders and the back. The piece is worked in the round below the arm openings. Part of the textured fabric with twisted ribs and seed stitch pattern is knitted from charts. Arm openings are finished with I-Cord Bind- Off, worked in the round using the Magic Loop Method or using DPNs.
If you have any question, tips for knitting, etc., please post in amirisu group. amirisu will coordinate with the designer to answer your questions.
